Sweet cheese pie

Sweet cheese pie

For sheets proceed as follows: put the eggs in a bowl and beat them well, add the oil, water, sugar, baking powder quenched in vinegar, vanilla sugar, essence and continue beating until the sugar melts. Gradually add the sifted flour (if you find the dough soft, add more flour) and knead well and divide the dough into 4 equal parts.

For the filling: we mix eggs with sweet cheese, grated telemeau, lemon peel, raisins that we left to soak in warm water for 15 minutes and sugar.

We spread the first sheet and place it in the tray, not before greasing it with margarine and covering it with flour. We put the filling, then sheet number 2, the filling, sheet number 3, the filling and the last sheet.

Leave it in the oven for 25-30 minutes (it took me about as long as it thickened a bit) then take it out and put it over the mixture. After it has cooled, slice it.

Sweet cheese pie

For the filling, mix the sweet cheese with the sugar, eggs and sour cream. The composition must be quite fluid. If it is too thick, add a little more cream or an egg. If you use raisins, soak them in 100 ml. warm water with 1 tablespoon of rum, the night before. They will wonderfully flavor the filling! Also, if you think 1 kg. of cheese is too much, use only 800 grams.

In the tray lined with baking paper (approx. 35 × 24 cm.) And well greased with oil, overlap 4 sheets of dough that are finely brushed with water and sprinkled with oil (as they are placed in the tray). The top is lightly greased with oil.
Put a layer of filling and continue in this way, alternating 3 sheets of pie with the cheese composition until the filling and sheets are finished. The last layer must be sheets.
Then brush lightly with oil on the surface and with a sharp knife cut the pie, so raw, into as many portions as you want.
Beat the egg well with mineral water and sour cream and pour over it. Place in the hot oven at 180-190 degrees C. (fire suitable for the sea) for 45-50 minutes. It is cut following the cuts made previously.

Specific Romanian dessert with sweet cream cheese and fluffy top

For the dough:

  • 2 eggs
  • 9 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 9 tablespoons oil
  • 9 tablespoons milk
  • 12 tablespoons flour
  • 12 tablespoons flour
  • a sachet of baking powder
  • a vial of vanilla essence
  • a pinch of salt.

For the filling:

  • 500-600 g of sweet cottage cheese
  • sugar - to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • candied orange peels - to taste.

Prepare the dough:

Beat the eggs with the salt powder until they turn white and double in volume. Add powdered sugar, vanilla essence, oil and milk.

Add the flour combined with the baking powder. Mix very well. You will get a thicker composition than fermented cream (like cake batter).

Bake for 10-15 minutes in the preheated oven to 180 ° C (150 ° C for the electric oven) until it coagulates.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling: mix all the necessary ingredients. To make the composition fluffier and tastier, you can prepare it with the help of the vertical mixer.

You can also add any additives to the filling - to your own taste. If the sweet cottage cheese is very dry, add another egg or a tablespoon of fermented cream to the filling.

Allow to cool and portion. Remove the pan from the oven and spread the cheese filling evenly on the baking sheet. Then cover it with the remaining dough. Bake the pie for 30 minutes, until golden brown.

Sweet cheesecake without dough

The sweet cheese cake is very popular especially because it is prepared so simply and quickly. However, we must admit that most of us love it because of the filling. If you would like to have less dough, find out that there is a version without it.

This cheesecake without dough is different from the American cheesecake (which has become very popular in our country) in that you do not even need a countertop to prepare it. In addition, the recipe is lighter, but also less pretentious in terms of the type of cheese used if for cheesecake it is mandatory to use a cream cheese, for this cake you only need sweet cottage cheese.

Ingredients (8-10 servings)

  • 500 g of cottage cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • 125 g cream
  • 100 g butter
  • 1/2 sachet with baking powder
  • peel from 1 lemon
  • vanilla essence
  • a few tablespoons of flour

Method of preparation

Separate the egg whites from the yolks and beat them on the first foam, combining them with the powdered sugar. Keep a little powdered sugar for decoration. Then add the yolks one by one.

Melt the butter and let it cool a little. Then pour it over the other ingredients. Mix well, then add the crushed cheese, cream, vanilla essence to taste, grated lemon peel and baking powder.

Add flour (2-4 tablespoons) until you get a composition like a thick cream.

Grease a pan with a little butter, line it with flour and pour the composition into it.

Leave the sweet cheese cake in the oven for about 35-40 minutes.

Take it out of the oven and sprinkle the rest of the powdered sugar on top. Let it cool, then cut it into slices.

Wash and soak the raisins in water with half a bottle of rum essence.
Mix cottage cheese with 3-4 tablespoons of sugar, depending on taste. Put the well drained raisins and the other half of the rum essence and mix well.
Grease each sheet with oil and overlap them. Put the sweet cheese composition on top of the last sheet and roll the sheets being careful not to break. We put the pie in the tray.
Mix beaten eggs with milk and pour over the pie. Sprinkle with sugar and bake until nicely browned (in my oven it lasted about 45 minutes).

Sweet Cow Cheese Pie

I mixed the flour with the baking powder, then I put the lard and rubbed it between my palms to mix well. Then I put the sugar, eggs, sour cream and kneaded. The dough must be greasy, in which case the pie (crumbly) comes out perfect. If necessary, you can add lard during kneading.

I mixed the cheese with the egg, the raisins, the sugar and the lemon peel. I divided the dough into 2 parts (one larger and one slightly smaller. I spread the larger part in the tray, I pricked the dough with a fork, then I put a layer of breadcrumbs. Over the breadcrumbs I put the cheese mixture and again breadcrumbs From the second part of the dough I spread another blanket, cut strips and made a grate over the cheese.

I baked over medium heat. Remove and when hot, powder with powdered sugar. Leave in the pan until completely cooled, then cut into squares (diamonds) and serve.
